Janus Soft is seeking an elite, highly skilled Systems DevOps Engineer (Subject Matter Expert) to drive the optimization and reliability of mission-critical systems within a secure, high-tempo intelligence environment. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between core systems administration and cloud DevOps engineering. You will own the scalability, security, and automation of our infrastructure—leveraging advanced cloud capabilities, continuous integration pipelines, and Kubernetes orchestration to ensure uninterrupted mission readiness. Mandatory Skills

• Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.

• Education: Technical Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.

• Cloud Infrastructure & IaC: Proved experience building and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure utilizing infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles, specifically CloudFormation and AWS Lambda.

• Containerization & Orchestration: Strong hands-on experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Kubernetes-based cloud environments.

• CI/CD Platforms: Expert-level mastery building and maintaining continuous delivery pipelines using ArgoCD and Jenkins.

• Linux Systems Engineering: Deep technical proficiency in Linux administration, including troubleshooting complex availability/performance issues, file system/volume/storage resource management, log analysis, and system monitoring.

• Security & Infrastructure Hardening: Advanced knowledge of securing user and service accounts, enforcing least-privilege access, and applying patches, updates, and rigorous security hardening configurations.

Desired Skills

• Experience implementing proactive, automated infrastructure monitoring to boost application reliability and real-time system awareness.

• Proven track record of closely partnering with cross-functional development and security teams to successfully automate deployments in a consistent, secure manner.

• Familiarity with the unique architectures and operational workflows of Sponsor-specific mission systems.
