In this role, you will be the architect of the invisible—building, refining, and scaling the middleware and backend services that power complex data ecosystems. You will tackle big data challenges, optimize search clusters, and drive the transition toward cutting-edge technologies like Java 17. Mandatory Skills

• Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.

• Big Data Ecosystems: Proven experience utilizing Spark or PySpark for large-scale data processing.

• Search Technologies: Hands-on expertise in Solr or Elasticsearch, including cluster management, index loading, and schema optimization.

• Backend Engineering: Advanced proficiency in Java 8+ (with a roadmap toward Java 17), Spring Boot, and the development of robust RESTful APIs.

• Cloud & Infrastructure: Direct experience deploying and managing services within AWS and navigating Linux (CentOS) environments.

• Data Science Fundamentals: Mastery of Regular Expressions (RegEx) and the ability to perform rigorous data quality analysis.

• Full Stack Versatility: Skill in JavaScript, Python, and Bash scripting to bridge the gap between systems.

• DevOps & Workflow: Proficient in GitHub version control and JIRA for agile lifecycle management.

• Production Delivery: A track record of designing, developing, and successfully deploying middleware and backend code into live production systems.

Desired Skills

• Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) in a secure environment.

• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks for backend services.

• Familiarity with modern CI/CD pipeline integration.
