Systems Engineer / Oracle Administrator

Job Description Janus Soft is seeking an elite Systems Engineer / Oracle Administrator to manage, optimize, and secure high-performance database and systems infrastructure in support of national security initiatives. In this role, you will maintain robust Oracle Linux environments, administer high-throughput Oracle Exadata platforms, and ensure high availability across security-controlled architectures. As a vital technical asset, you will support Assessment and Authorization (A&A) workflows, collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams, and handle sensitive data with high discretion to drive mission success.

Mandatory Skills

• Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.

• Certifications: Active Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) Database Administrator certification.

• Oracle Linux Administration: Proven experience serving as an Oracle Linux Systems Administrator within complex enterprise environments.

• Oracle Exadata: Hands-on experience in Oracle Exadata administration, system maintenance, and performance optimization.

Desired Skills

• Oracle Exadata Database Machine Certified Implementation Specialist certification.

• Deep experience with broader Linux systems engineering and enterprise administration.

• Demonstrated familiarity with the Sponsor’s security-controlled systems, data architecture, and Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes.

• Proven track record handling highly sensitive data with discretion, sound technical judgment, and mission-first execution.

• Adaptable team player with experience cross-skilling and backfilling teammates to ensure 24/7 operational continuity.
